  1. Creative and Editorial Independence: Promote creative freedom and freedom of expression for independent directors and producers, without political or commercial interference.
  2. Transparency and Professional Ethics: Encourage transparent practices in project management, financing and professional relations, while respecting ethical standards.
  3. Diversity and Inclusion:Committed to representing and integrating diverse talents in terms of gender, ethnic origin, culture and outlook in all phases of production.
  4. Emerging Talent Support: Encourage the support and development of young directors and producers, through mentoring programs, training and networking opportunities.
  5. Artistic and Technical Quality: Promote artistic and technical excellence in audiovisual productions, encouraging innovation and the search for new forms of storytelling.
  6. Respect for Copyright and Related Rights: Ensuring the protection and recognition of copyright and related rights, and fair remuneration of creators.
  7. International collaboration: Encourage cooperation with international partners to promote the co-production and export of audiovisual works.
  8. Fair Working Conditions: Promoting fair and safe working conditions for all workers in the film and audiovisual industry.
  9. Promoting Sustainable Production: Adopting environmentally-friendly production practices, including resource management and carbon footprint reduction.
  10. Support for Cinéma d'Auteur and Cinéma de Recherche: Promote and support works of high artistic, cultural or social value that do not benefit from the same support as mainstream productions.
  11. Defending Access to Public Subsidies: Protecting fair access to public subsidies and grants for independent producers, and opposing any policies that reduce this support.
  12. Mediation and Conflict Resolution: Set up mediation mechanisms to resolve conflicts between ARPi members and other industry players.
  13. Education and Awareness: Organize seminars, workshops and events to raise awareness of copyright issues, independent production and cultural policies.
  14. Promotion of the Audiovisual Heritage : Participate in the conservation and promotion of Belgian and international audiovisual heritage, by supporting restoration and distribution initiatives.
  15. Commitment to Innovation: Encourage members to explore new technologies and platforms to diversify and enrich the content offering.
